Simphiwe Dana Reveals Her Mother Who Is A Nurse Has Caught Coronavirus. Everyday, there are shocking statistics released about the coronavirus. Each one of us now, knows at least somebody who has been infected or affected by the virus. Celebrities like Bob Mabena, TT Mbha and Tb Touch have come through about how the virus has impacted their lives.
Another celebrity, Simphiwe Dana has just announced that her mother has been diagnosed with the virus. Just like many people in the health care sector, the musician’s mom got the virus on duty. As a retired nurse, Simphiwe’s mom, went back to serve at a an old age home. Unfortunately she then caught the virus, which continues to spread like wildfire.
Coronavirus has not been kind particularly to the elderly and those with chronic diseases. Although Simphiwe’s mother is diabetic, the great news is that she is recovering well at home.
“My mom has been diagnosed with the corona virus. She is a retired nurse who went back to work for an old age home because nursing to her is a calling. She is recovering at home and seems to be OK. She has diabetes. Still I have faith she will pull through,” Simphiwe said.
