Fans Want Pitch Black Afro To Make A Comeback!
It’s been a while since fans have heard a new tune from the musician or seen him in the social circles. Orlando born native Thulani Ngcobo AKA Pitch Black Afro, became a favourite on the club scene often playing with ‘The Native Huts Allstars’ and was eventually discovered by DJ Cleo during a stint doing “Rap Activity Jams” on YFM radio.
His debut album styling gel has made him the biggest selling Hip Hop artist thus far, he broke the record , he holds the record, . That means no Hip Hop star has sold more than Pitch Black Afro. His first album was produced by Cleo and released in 2005, selling 50,000 copies in South Africa. He followed this with “Split Enz” in 2006.
The Kwaito veteran recently shut down Twitter when he was featured on V Entertainment. Pitch Black Afro spoke about his upbringing in Orlando East and dropped a few beats. Within minutes after Pitch Black Afro appeared on TV screens he made the Twitter trends list.
So it was a welcomed surprise for fans, who took to the social media platform to express their excitement. Talk about loyal fans!
