Gauteng Provincial Legislature Internship

The Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) has an Intern opportunity in their Transport and Logistics Unit specifically in the area of Fleet Management and Transport Coordination Management.

Applications will be welcomed from candidates that have studied a National Certificate (NQF Level 4 or 5) with the following subjects as majors:

1. Transport/Fleet Management

2. Administrative functions

The 12 month internship programme will commence on 1 March 2014 until 28 February 2015.

Interns will receive a stipend of R4 000 per month and are encouraged to send their CV’s before or on 4 March 2014 to be considered for shortlisting.

Requirements

Applicants must have a qualification in one of the fields listed. To apply, submit a detailed CV, certified copies of certificates, transcripts, identity document and a letter to the GPL by no later than CLOSE OF BUSINESS 4 MARCH 2014.

Failure to submit required documents will result in the application not being considered. A candidate that was previously employed under any internship programme or currently employed will not be considered.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

Applications must be submitted via mail or hand delivered for receipt on or before Close of Business 4 March 2014. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

Correspondence will be limited to successful candidates only. Applications must be sent to Human Resources, Private Bag X52, Johannesburg, 2000 if mailed.

Applications that will be hand delivered must be delivered to Human Resources, 12th floor, 1066, c/o Pritchard and Loveday streets, Johannesburg.

If you have not been contacted by 15 March 2014, please accept that your application was unsuccessful.

Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to screening and security vetting to determine the suitability of a person for employment. Failure to submit the requested documents will result in your application not being considered. No faxed or emailed applications will be considered.
