Mariah Carey Shows Off Her Massive Engagement Ring

The proposal took place in Mariah Carey’s hometown of New York City on Jan. 21 and a source previously told PEOPLE that the singer (and lover of all things lavish) is living a fairy tale.

The pair recently stepped out at the G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles on Thursday and shared laughs and intimate whispers. Carey donned a black, sparkly, long-sleeve dress alongside her billionaire beau who sported a black tuxedo.

The two beamed as they sipped drinks at their table, with Packer often gazing at his wife-to-be. The only thing emitting more sparkles than the couple in-love? Was Carey’s massive engagement ring  (35-carat engagement ring, to be exact).  She flashed the jewelry multiple times with hair flips and waves.
