Congratulations to Bruce Dube, Founder of Youth Jobs and Youth Village for getting selected to attend the British Council’s Global Change makers Euro-Africa Youth Summit in Brussels, Belgium 2012. . He made it amongst the 1500 people globally contesting for 60 places available.
The British Council’s Global Changemakers are a select group of young people, aged from 16 to 25, who have demonstrated a significant track record of achievement in their local communities through social entrepreneurship, community activism and volunteer work. These exceptional young people are part of a global network where they share ideas, knowledge, and best practices, and where they work individually and together on projects that directly impact the lives of those in their local communities.
Global Changemakers are at the forefront of running innovative projects in their communities, shaping policy and speaking truth to power through access to institutions and platforms such as the World Economic Forum.
The mission of the British Council’s Global Changemakers programme is to connect and empower youth worldwide to catalyse positive social change.
