ANC Youth League: “Mmusi Maimane Is Suffering From The Stockholm Syndrome”

Stockholm syndrome is a complex psychological condition where the hostage becomes sympathetic towards the kidnappers. The syndrome is named after a bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden. It is an example of defense mechanism, in which the person develops emotional attachment with the nearest powerful adult. The condition is also called Trauma Bonding, in which the victim chooses to remain loyal to the abuser.

.Just after DA councillor Chris Roberts was fined R10 000 for calling a colleague in the UDM a “bobbejaan” (baboon). The ANC Youth League in Gauteng has decided that Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane needs to be saved from “Stockholm syndrome”.

“We have said it before that the DA is nothing but a nest where racists are harvested,” the youth league said in a statement.

The ANC Youth League also questioned why black leaders in the DA continued to defend the party.

“We can only conclude that they are either so desperate to lead that they will do so to any extent, even if it means being a door mat for the white baas [boss] or they suffer from Stockholm syndrome.”

Eish, Mmusi Maimane seems to be definitely trending for all the wrong reasons.
