Reigning Miss SA Ntando Kunene Is Ready For Miss Universe

Mpumalanga’s famed sunshine; Ntandoyenkosi Kunene will take centre stage at the prestigious Miss Universe pageant that will take place in Manila, Philippines on the 30th of January. Miss SA Ntando will go up against 85 contestants from all corners of the world.

“ I have leant a great deal of my experience at the Miss World pageant which took place in 2016 in Washington in the US” said reigning Miss SA Ntando, she also shared how excited and overwhelmed she is to meet contestants from all over the world.

Ntando was crowned Miss South Africa 2016 at a glittering event presented by Sun International and with Cell C that was held at Carnival City,. The 24-year old education honours student from Mpumalanga said she was determined to make a difference during her reign.

The Mpumalanga beauty left yesterday for Manila where she will be competing with other contestants. She said that the Miss South Africa and Miss Wold stages were great ways of preparing for this pageant. she went on said that this pageant is the one she’s ever wanted ever since winning Miss South Africa, as it’s bigger and bolder.

Kunene will be dressed by fashion designer duo Quiteria and George. The contest will be hosted by US comedian Steve Harvey alongside plus size model Ashley Graham.

Ntando will however take part in various judged challenges before the finale at the Mall of Asia Arena. Good luck to the Mpumalanga beauty, we hope and believe that she has mastered her walk and big voice for this 65th Miss Universe pageant.
