1. Mandisa ka Cassper Nyovest
We all bumped into the bogus pictures of this avid Cassper Nyovest fan which were trending on social media. Firstly… She posted a picture of herself “Photoshopped” with musician Cassper Nyovest and changed her name to “Mandisa ka Cassper Nyovest”. Somehow, her photoshopped pics were re-shared to the point of trending.
2. Dj Zinhle and AKA split
After welcoming their daughter, Kairo into the world, the music power couple decided to separate. Dj Zinhle ( Zinhle Jiyane) issued a statement announcing the “amicable” split with AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes. The former couple also asked for privacy saying they will not be giving any interviews on their break-up.
3. AKA and Bonang Affair saga
After swirling rumours about an alleged affair between AKA and Bonang Matheba, DJ Zinhle has broke her silence, confirming the speculation. Writing on her blog, MomentsbyDjZinhle.com , Zinhle explains that AKA admitted to the relationship. However, AKA and Bonang denied the allegations.
4. Dj Sbu Scandals
Just weeks after his suspension at Metro FM for unlawfully advertising his energy drink MoFaya during the recent Metro FM Awards, Sbu faced legal action. This was after he retweeted a fake photoshopped cover of Forbes Africa, with him featured on the cover promoting – yet again – his energy drink. The Dj got into a lot of trouble thereafter, all because of his energy drink and many of his scandals surfaced. Oh, and he also got dumped by his fiancee.

The Gigaba affair
Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba’s wife, Norma, allegedly had a heated Instagram fight with Buhle Mkize, a fashionista, who claims Gigiba has been pursuing her. According to screenshots of the conversation, it appears that an Instagram account allegedly belonging to Gigaba’s wife under the name “Mrs Gigabyte” accused Mkize of going after Gigaba, and things escalated when she allegedly called Buhle a “prostitute”.
