1. Bonang and D’Banj
Popular Nigerian playboy and pop star D’banj caused a raucous between South Africans and Nigerian yesterday when he openly declared his love for Nigerian billionaire heiress Adama Indimi. South Africans defended their own, media personality Bonang Matheba who was well known to be in a romantic relationship with 35-year old Dapo Oyebanjo.
2. AKA and Dj Zinhle
After welcoming their daughter, Kairo into the world, the music power couple decided to separate. Dj Zinhle ( Zinhle Jiyane) issued a statement announcing the “amicable” split with AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes. The former couple also asked for privacy saying they will not be giving any interviews on their break-up.
3. Amanda Du Pont and Cassper
The two were Mzansi’s newest couple late 2014 and shared a passionate kiss on the Channel O Music Video Awards. Amanda used to call Cassper her ‘Power Ranger’. She posted pictures of him on her social media for months it stopped. Cassper Nyovest set the record straight during his performance at the Metro FM Music Awards last night saying; “Amanda Du Pont wasn’t tailored for me.” Confirming the rumors of their split.
4. Andile Ncube and Ayanda Thabethe
Sunday Sun reported that Ayanda has left her husband Andile Ncube. According to the paper, this is after she caught him cheating on her. a source told the paper: “Ayanda caught him and was not impressed at all. She took off her wedding ring and changed her Instagram handle from Ayanda Ncube to Ayannda Thabethe – her maiden name.”
5. Graeme Smith and Morgan Deane
The couple, who married following a whirlwind romance in 2011, split earlier this year in a very public parting of ways. Morgan, a former backing singer for Jedward’s Eurovision campaigns, met South African cricket star Graeme while on holiday in his native South Africa and soon moved there to start a family. They have two children together, Cadence (3) and Carter (2) and the proud mother regularly shares photos of her adorable children on social media.
