Skills Training Programme
Applications are invited from individuals in and around East London to apply for a 2-month Skills Training Programme at MBSA. This programme is aimed towards upskilling individuals with manufacturing shopfloor skills for potential employment in the local CBD/IDZ and general manufacturing-related industries.
Learning Outcomes
The Skills Training Programme will include, but not be limited to:
- Keeping the work place area safe and productive
- Operating hand tools and power tools
- Using measuring equipment
- Understanding production systems
- Adhering to quality procedures
- Supporting line supply.
Requirements
Applicants must be a South African citizen with a minimum Grade 12 General Qualification OR a Grade 12 with Maths or Mathematical Literacy OR a full N3 Technical Certificate in the Mechanical or Electrical field. The applicant must be able to speak, read and write English and be willing to participate in the multi-phased assessment programme as well as a medical assessment.
