Eddie Murphy Is Expecting His 9th Child With Longtime Girlfriend!
Eddie Murphy will be a dad for the 9th time and he is expecting his first child with longtime girlfriend Paige Butcher. The Oscar-nominated actor and his girlfriend, Paige Butcher, 36, will welcome a newborn in May 2016. Murphy fathered five children – Bria, Myles, Shayne, Zola and Bella – ranging in ages from 26 to 13 with his ex-wife Nicole Murphy, whom he divorced in 2006 after 22 years of marriage. Additionally, the stand-up comedian also has a 26-year-old son, Eric, with his ex-girlfriend Paulette McNeely; a 25-year-old son Christian, with his ex-girlfriend Tamara Hood; and an 8-year-old daughter, Angel, with former spice girls member, Mel B.
Even though he has eight children by four different women, they all come together on holidays and for sporting events and hang out at his mansion as one big blended family. “All of the children love each other dearly and the women, having all moved on with their own relationships, co-exist very well together,” the source said.
Murphy, 54, and Butcher, 36, have kept the details of their four-year relationship largely under wraps. In 2013, however, Butcher did open up and admitted that her relationship with Murphy made her wary of joining social media.
“I’m in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there’s already enough of me out there,” the Australian star said. “I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now.”
