Audition Dates Revealed For SA’s Singing Competition “The Voice”

It’s official, locally made version of ‘The Voice’, will launch on M-Net in January 2016, with auditions to kick off from October 2015.

‘The Voice South Africa’ where singers compete for a record contract and big prize will be lead by four coaches, Mzansi’s top musicians namely: Lira #TeamLira, Karen Zoid #TeamKaren, Bobby van Jaarsveld #TeamBobby and Kahn Morbee from Parlotones #TeamKahn

Auditions 

Now that you know what the coaches are after, it’s time to ready yourself for the auditions. If you want to be on The Voice, you need to have an amazing voice, be older than 18, have South African citizenship and go to the countrywide auditions which will commence in October.

The auditions are taking place in the following cities on the following dates:

Cape Town – Newlands Stadium on 17 & 18 October 2015;

Durban – Kings Park Rugby Stadium on 25 & 26 October 2015;

Johannesburg – Mark’s Park on 31 October & 01 November 2015.

To skip the long audition queues, you can also submit a YouTube link of you performing a song to www.mnet.tv/thevoice.

The Voice SA’s selection team will fast-track some of the best voices on these online audition submissions to the front of the queue.

The Voice SA will be screened exclusively on M-Net 101 from January 2016.
