Jeannie D decided to take cancer awareness to a whole new level this week, after realising doing something dramatic would be the only way to really get the message across. And what better way than to chop some of your beautiful hair to donate to cancer victims?

The forever beautiful Jeannie D just did that for a purpose and that’s her bit For Cancer Awareness. How many celebrities do you know of who can do such a bold thing?

She wrote on social media, “Just lobbed off years of my life. Will be donating my ponytail to the people who make wigs for Cancer patients,”
