SABC Wants Axed Generations Actors Back!

Well, what do you know? But before we start celebrating, here’s what’s up…. Just a few weeks ago, Sophie Ndaba made peace with Mfundi Mvundla and surely most of us were happy to hear the news but more great news came after that.

Apparently, SABC head Hlaudi Motsoeneng reached out to the 16 actors fired by the soapie last year, calling on them to “return home.”

“We tried our best to intervene in the dispute. That’s why we are now extending a call to them to come back.”

The SABC head further stated that the fired actors should be direct their anger towards the production company and not at the SABC.

The SABC understands that some of the actors have moved on to other channels but SABC says they are committed to helping the actors develop their own shows should they come back.

It is said that Sophie Ndaba, Winnie Ntshaba and former Generations head writer Bongi Ndaba have teamed up already to pitch ideas  on the station.
