Mfundi Mvundla Fires Actors Again!

Generations: The Legacy made its appearance in December last year and the revamped soapie is now undergoing a cast restructuring after several actors did not get their contracts renewed.

It is said that there are more actors who have not had their contracts renewed. Denise Zimba, who plays the role of Mary is one of the actors whose contracts were not renewed during contract negotiations. Asanda Foli (Simphiwe) and Ivy Nkutha (Gog’ Flo) have also been axed along with Zimba.

A source said the decision to get rid of the actresses was made after noticing that their roles were not adding any significant impact on the drama.

“We can’t confirm or deny the allegations but the official statement will be on the Generations website soon.” said Gaaratwe Mokhethi, Generations publicist.
