Lerato Kganyago Slams Fans Who Feel She Doesn’t Speak Sepedi Fluently On Muvhango
Fans are great until they rub you the wrong way, TV personality Lerato Kganyago has fallen victim of this too many times but she never shies away from standing up for herself. She is by far the biggest name on SABC2’s soapie Muvhango which has garnered a lot of viewers since the beginning on this year. Lerato Kganyago’s role as ‘Masebotsana’ on Muvhango is said to have recently added more viewers to the soapie. It seems that the viewers love seeing her on their screens. Who wouldn’t though?
Anyway, the proud actress took to instagram how proud she is of her slaying character on Muvhango by posting a screen grab of soapie ratings according to popularity. Muvhango was number one of course and credit was all given to her character ‘Masebotsana’.
Her fans couldn’t stop showering her with compliments but before you know it, things took a different turn when a fan dissed her about how she speaks her home language Sepedi. The fan broke the silence and said : “But please speak fluent sepedi and not mix with sestwana, I mean you’re a pedi princess”.
Ngwana Kganyago didn’t waste any time, she fired shots right back: “I’m half Tswana half Pedi so I give you both 😊… You don’t congratulate and say BUT”
And she continued….
“exactly… I’ve been mixing languages from The Link!! I make an effort to speak all languages because my followers are different walks of life, that what sells me…. I can do 1 link in 5 different languages, and people love that”
