Bonang Matheba Puts A Stop To The Hairstyle Debate. Back then women had the pressure to relax their hair or wear weaves and wigs. Nowadays women are in pressure again to go all natural. Women have never really been given absolute power to control how they want to present themselves. Media personality Bonang Matheba has her opinion on how women should wear their hair.

Bonang was responding to a man with the handle Jack Devero. He tweeted, “Kings, if your girlfriend changes her hair and now looks like the ladies from Abashante is it safe to say that your feelings were not considered and there must be consequences?” Bonang was among those who answered Jack.

She came through for the ladies when she said, “if he ain’t paying, his opinion don’t matter. Actually, ke hairstyle ya mang kante? Mo tlhogong ya ga mang kana?” This simply translates, the hairstyle and the head belongs to the lady, henceforth she has full control on what she does.
