Vacancy: Sales Order Clerk

Brief Description of Job Purpose 
To place orders on program used received by mail, telephone or personally from customer or company employee, manually or via imports. Handle enquiries and complaints.
To ensure that all customer claims are logged onto our system and that documentation is captured accurately.  To assist the customer with all parts of the investigation process to enable a smooth flow from claim that is logged till credit being passed onto the customer’s account.
 
Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12
At least 2 years data-capturing and/ or in a related role
 
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
Strong computer literacy especially in relevant applications (Pastel payroll will be an advantage)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Numerical
Attention to detail
Pressure Resilient
Be able to work as part of a team
 
Key Responsibilities of This Role
Accurately and timeously placing of all sales orders either manually or importing it into the companies orders system.
Accurately and timeously logging and investigating RMA’s and passing approved credits into the companies RMA & financial system.
Liaising with internal and external clients and customers regarding sales orders and RMA’s.
