Sol Phenduka Responds to Reports that He Is Releasing A Gospel Album Soon. Sometimes it get really slow in the newsroom such that any story goes. One particular article that shocked many, was that of Sol Phenduka and his plans to drop a gospel album.

In the pas year to date, Sol has been bagging gig after gig. Among those include a presenting gig on YFM as the breakfast show co-host, a TV gig as well as being on the panelist of Comedy Central AF Roast of Khanyi Mbau.

According to the article from Jovaza Blog, the media personality, musician and DJ, is now tapping into gospel music. This happened a year ago after Sol shared a photo of himself on Twitter, in which he looked like a gospel star. The article states that from the colour scale to the pose he assumed, to his outfit in the picture, it looked like a textbook photo that would be used as the cover of a gospel music album.

A number of people who commented on the picture, also agree that Sol definitely resembled many gospel artists. They even suggested songs that he should release, should he go that route. Knowing Sol he also joked about it, saying he should maybe venture into the industry.

The article on Jovaza Blog was penned a year ago, and it is only now, that it caught Sol’s attention. Clearly, he didn’t think such a picture will make a story for local publications, but here we are.

Responding to the story, Sol tweeted, “Wtf?”
