Khune Lashes Out At The Media Over False Stories About Him & Minnie
We all know that soccer star, Itumeleng Khune and TV personality Minnie Dlamini had called it quits a very long time ago. They are so old news but hey to no surprise, there are still people out there who still feel the need to mix the two at any given time.
Khune went to twitter yesterday to set things straight following an article written about him and Minnie Dlamini. Apparently it is said that Minnie was adviced to stay away from the Kaizer Chiefs player to retain her Nedbank deal. However, Minnie denied she was advised to stay away from Khune.
Khune was regarded a “bad boy” within the institution’s corridors because of his bad press and controversial social media behaviour, according to Nedbank officials.
The soccer star wrote this on twitter yesterday….
“This is my humble request once again, these journalists think they can write whatever they think is good for them to sell a paper but take bread out of our mouths, they write lies about us week in week out cause I was crowned a #champion yesterday so they thought they were going to take my shine away just like that.they are wrong cause some of their writers told me that if they don’t have anything to write about they just cook up something around ItuKhune cause he sells their papers.our surnames are being misused in wrong reasons,do these people ever consider or think of our family members or people that looks up to us “Nope”. this has to STOP cause we are Role Models to many but yet we have journalist who destroys our careers just like that.how are we supposed to keep our people Positive while other people keep them Negative.we trying really hard.so these people are out there to destroy some of us.don’t let them fool y’all with their lies”
He is such an optimist after all….
Dlamini and Khune were once a power couple couples, but broke up a year ago over allegations of cheating. They are however described as the on-and-off pair.
