10 Things We Learn From Cassper Nyovest’s Interviews

“Cassper Nyovest yeah he’s the man” …. .Oh yeah….. We like it for Cassper Nyovest! He is a multi-award winning rapper and his music is definitely something to hark about.  He made it out with Gusheshe then he stepped up with Doc Shebeleza, and honestly we still can’t get enough of the Nyovest fever. He is still rocking the space.

Cassper is more than just a rapper, so let’s get inside his head and see the 10 things we learn from Casspers Nyovest’s interviews.

1. Despite the beef he had with rapper AKA, C assper says he is a fan of AKA’s music and his latest album Levels. He says he would love to work with him although they would probably fight over the song too.

2.  He says even though he and Boity broke up there is no bad blood between them and they remain friends.  He says, “We’re friends. We’re really really close friends. Like realllly reallly close friends”.

3. Cassper  says he wants his music to be recognized all across Africa.

4. Cassper says he did not pay American rapper Talib Kweli to feature on the remix of his hit Doc Shebeleza 

5. He says he does not struggle with writing and takes about two hours to write and record a song.

6. The biggest challenge Cassper faced before making it bad was getting our stuff played. Just getting the recognition that we deserve. Before everyone knew us we knew that we were gonna be big before we made it.

7. Caassper says his album name “Tsholofelo” was named after his little sisters name. ” It means hope so besides the story that I always tell that she gave me her lunch money to travel to joburg.

8. Cassper says that he would love to appear on the BET Cypher with some of the best rappers in the world.

9.  Cassper says he loves all the songs on his album “Tsholofelo”, “because I spent so much time with them and the album”.

-Kid X is my favourite rapper.
– Number two has to be Riky Rick
– Then OkMalumKoolKat
– I really really enjoy what K.O is doing.
– And theres this kid Chad Da Don. Im really excited about him. Cant wait for people to hear him.
