Unicef and Nike Distance Themselves From Dj Sbu

If celebrities will be remembered for their signature achievements, Dj Sbu will be remembered for his signature lies. The reader knows the rest. Although the most consequential of Dj Sbu’s lies — have positioned him as one of the most successful personalities in SA, it’s far from his only prevarication.

It seems like Dj Sbu has lied about a lot of things and if not everything. It has been reported that Sibusiso lied about being an ambassador for Unicef and Nike. Dj Sbu claimed that he was an ambassador for sport clothing brand Nike and the international children’s rights organization Unicef. This info appears on his foundation website and on his Metro FM public profile.

Nike Africa Communications Manager said Dj Sbu was not their brand ambassador, but had previously hosted some of the events. Unicef and Nike have now distanced themselves from Dj Sbu after discovering the lies.

He also lied about ‘Mofaya’, in which he claimed that the energy drink is approved by the South African Breweries (SABS). The highly promoted drink is neither approved nor certified.

We can never believe anything that will come out of Dj Sbu’s in the future now and we only have this to say to Dj Sbu, “Liar, Liar , pants on fire!”
