Breaking into acting is something many young people aspire to do, but few accomplish.  Amogelang Chidi, popularly know as Refilwe from etv’s soapie is  a rising star in the acting scene. The 24 year old actress is young, beautiful and passionate about acting.

1. She made her first television appearance at the age 10 as a top 10 finalist on SABC2’s singing competition Light House. 

2. In 2008, Amo was also a Top 40 finalist on the M-Net reality competition High School Musical: Spotlight South Africa.

3. She loves jazz and soulful music and her favourite musician is Emily Sunday

4. She can’t live without her bible, it’s my motivation and inspiration and it’s the book that keeps me grounded.

5. Her dream car is Audi A1

6. Her hidden talents are My hidden talent are playing the keyboard, guitar and she can sing.

7.  Amo was chosen to represent South Africa in a pan-African show called Daughters of Africa in Netherlands.

8. She was the presenter of Design and Automobile on DStv’s AfricaMagic channel.

9. Her favourite actress is Angelina Jolie because I love her versatility.

10. Amo is  part of a female duo called “Shee” along with an extremely talented vocalist Tshenolo Ntsani.
