Rihanna Becomes The First Black Face Of Dior
Rihanna has topped every music chart under the sun, and now that she doesn’t have anything more to prove on the music scene, she taking over the fashion industry.
Riri has become the first non model to be featured in the Dior’s Secret Garden campaign and the first ever black woman to represent the luxury brand and the film and print versions are scheduled to run soon.
The spokesperson for the French brand has confirmed that the fourfiveseconds hit maker will star in their latest secret garden campaign which will be available soon. The campaign is entitled ‘secret service was shot by Steven Klein at the Palace of Versailles situated on the outskirts of Paris.
The previous installments featured models Daria Stokus, Mellisa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju walking through the palace’s decorative gardens and has over 9million views on the official Dior YouTube channel.
The 27 year old Barbados singer is following into some A list footsteps like Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Lawrence and our very own Charlize Theron.
Riri has also featured in Balmain Paris campaigns and is the creative director of sports brand Puma.
