ASSET: Bursary Opportunity 2015

ASSET is a Western Cape, section 21, non-profit organisation which was launched in January 2003. It previously operated under the auspices of the Cape Western Region of the SA Institute of Race Relations and has a long, proud history of serving the educational needs of disadvantaged students.

The generous funding received from local, national and international donors has made ASSET’s work possible and over the years the organisation has made a substantial contribution to educational development in the country and to the general well-being of the community that it serves.

Requirements and Duties:

Requirements:

>>Only South African citizens who are resident in the Western Cape are eligible.

>>Students who are in Grade 12 and intend studying for a first degree, diploma or higher certificate are eligible.

>>You must meet the entry requirements for your chosen field of study.

 

Duties:

>>Upon applying for this bursary opportunity you should ensure that all examination results from Grade 11 until June/September of Grade 12 are submitted.

>>Applications may be made for a University or University of Technology in the Western Cape only.

>>Applications for private institutions or FET Colleges are not accepted.

>>In view of large numbers of applications, only successful candidates will be notified. This will be done by the end of February.
