Most people spend their entire weekend stressing about the upcoming Monday, newsflash it’s going to come anyway so you might as well enjoy your weekend with family and friends. Being worried all weekend will just make you feel exhausted on Mondays because you didn’t spend it wisely.
2. Prepare for Monday on Friday
Before you leave work organize all the things you need to do on Monday. Go to weekend knowing everything is in order and you know exactly what you are going to do the next Mondays so that you don’t feel overwhelmed on the day.
3. Start with a workout
Waking up early on Monday helps you feel in control of the day. Have a little jog or run before you start your day. This will help you feel energized and ready to tackle anything. Also have a healthy breakfast, skipping it will lengthen your day and you’ll feel lazy.
4. Plan Monday evening
When you get out of the house, have something to look forward to at the end of the day. It can be a series or movie you didn’t finish during the weekend or you want to cook something different for your family. Have something exciting to do on Monday evenings.
5. Do enjoyable tasks
You know your schedule and the things that need to get done, work on the tasks you enjoy the most on Mondays. Don’t feel bad for going easy on yourself, don’t schedule big or important things for first Monday morning, push them close to the end of the day.

If you start thinking about all the work back at the office, turn your focus to more constructive things. Concentrate on the positive steps you can take to tone down negative thoughts.

Lunch is important for everyday but more vital for Mondays or any day you find hard going. Have lunch with a mentor, a friend or someone you’ve been meaning to catch up with.

Think about what you love about your job and the people you work with. Instead of being the Debbie downer, encourage a good mood around the office, making others smile and offering compliments it will also leave you feeling good.
9. Be Nice
You have to remember that Monday occurs to everyone. Don’t get caught up in your hate for it and consider others. Be nice to everyone you come across, no need to make them feel worse if they hate Mondays like you do.
