Key Responsibilities

Your duties as a Production Assistant include:

• Manufacturing, preparing, and wrapping products according to specifications and budgets
• Correctly pricing items sold by weight or loose items
• Conducting regular quality checks and ensuring stock rotation
• Removing damaged or expired stock to prevent loss
• Maintaining temperatures and cold chain standards for perishable products
• Ensuring hygiene, housekeeping, and safe working standards
• Operating and cleaning equipment according to company standards
• Approaching and advising customers on products in a courteous and professional manner
• Processing customer orders accurately following procedures and service standards
• Promoting products and communicating effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers
• Performing other duties as assigned, including transfer between stores when required

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Reside close to the store
• Ability to manufacture various meat products such as sausages, mince, and other items
• Proficiency in English
