Nqobile Khumalo Bags A Lead Role In A New Drama Series. There are a number of new shows that will surely keep viewers entertained for months. This is also great news for a lot of actors, because this means more jobs for them, as the industry expands. One actress who bagged a new role, and has many reasons to celebrate even in the middle of a pandemic is Nqobile Khumalo.
The international Award winning Scandal! actress is among the talented cast members of an upcoming Mzansi Magic show, Nqobile. She has been cast to play the lead role of, Nqobile a woman who has a quest to rise above marital abuse and begin to live fearlessly. Just like many married women out there, Nqobile is the ill-treated as a wife and daughter in-law.
She however manages to outsmart her entitled, abusive husband and takes over his empire. Nqobile then transforms it into a women-led e-hailing service, and with newfound grit, indirectly declares war against her spouse. Her husband, Simo Nkosi is played by another international award winning actor, Kagiso Modupe. The cast also boasts other veteran actors such as Magic Hlatshwayo (as George), Nomsa Nene (as Sarah), Lele Ledwaba (as Mampoi), Lilian Dube (as Black Widow), Abdul Khoza (as Gugu), Nhlanhla Mdlalose (as Sbambura) and Ayanda Bandla (as Ntombi).
The drama series will start airing at 20h00 on Monday 5 July 2021.
