5 Reasons why we think eTV’s New Soapie will be better than Generations: The Legacy

So, the cat is out of the bag and now we know that things are about to go down. It’s a new year and new things are coming our way. eTV has made interesting changes, from re-vamping their slot and introducing a new soapie which will be airing at 8pm . It is said that this decision was taken after the viewers of the new Generations: The Legacy stated their dissatisfaction with the new plot twist.

This move is just something to completely hark about everyday. With all that being said, let’s take a look at the reasons below that make us believe that the new Soapie will give Generations: The Legacy a run for their money.

1. Generations ex-cast will star in new eTV soapie – eTV approached some of the ex generations cast. The likes of Soaphie Ndaba, Nambitha Mpumlwana and Zolisa Xaluva. What more can we say? Who wouldn’t want to watch these stars?

2. The soapie will be broadcast during the popular 8pm slot – This should provide some interesting competition for Generations. The Legacy which so many people have been complaining about.

3. It is a brand new soapie – It’s easy to fall inlove with a soapie when the following starts from day 1. A lot of viewers will be open to the new soapie and this will make the story line to sink in without a hustle . Remember how Generations lovers got disappointment with the pilot episode of Generations the Legacy? Now do the math….. Many viewers will definitely fall inlove with the new soapie.

4. It’s all about drama – People love soapies that are full of drama, so they will definitely watch . All the adrenaline rush, that’s what excites people and they will keep coming back for more.

5. eTV is a growing brand – The channel is becoming popular because it always looks for better ways to improve. The new soapie is aimed at entertaining South African viewers and keeping them glued to their television screens. So this looks promising and could work well.
