The richest football club list is out and the Premier League is dominating with five teams in the top 10. “This is testament to the huge appeal of the Premier League globally and the equality of distribution the clubs enjoy relative to their European counterparts.” said the senior manager at Deloitte. Although some may argue that Spain is the home of football, this just shows where the passion is-England.
1. Real Madrid- 459.5m
The Spanish football club has claimed the number one spot for the second time in a row. The club’s financial clout was made clear in September 2013 when it made Welsh forward Gareth Bale the most expensive signing in football history. The value of the team is calculated based on equity, debt and stadium deals.
2. Manchester United- 433.2m
Manchester United may have had their worst season for two decades last year but they have reclaimed the second spot on the richest football clubs. “If the club can regain their Champions League status for the 2015/16 season, there is a strong possibility that they will also regain the top spot in our money game” said the Deloitte spokesperson.
3. Bayern Munich- 407.7m
The team has had a lot of success lately with them claiming the U.E.F.A title and its domestic dominance has kept the club in pole position. They are also one of the top teams in the Bundesliga.
4. Barcelona- 405.2m
With a unique style of playing and La Liga dominance, Barcelona is one of the best clubs in the world. “Barcelona is an interesting one in so much as their revenue growth, when comparing 2013/14 to the previous year, isn’t as great as great as some of the clubs around them.
5. Paris Saint- Germaine- 396.5m
The club recorded a significant increase which helped them maintain their fifth spot. A sensational 69% of their income was recorded in commercial receipts, with their sizable sponsorship deal with the Qatar Tourism Authority accounting for most of that figure.

Manchester City has become the team to beat in the Premier League and are the current champions of the league. Their ranking is going up and won’t be surprising to see them in the top four next season.

Arsenal had another season in the U.E.F.A. League, they also won the F.A.cup and their tickets are known to be the most expensive in Europe.

Liverpool climbed three places in the season that saw them regaining Champions League football for finishing 2nd in Premier League taking A.C Milan place in the top 10.
10. Juventus- 233.6m
The most popular club among the Italian football supporters, Juventus have dominated the Series A title race in the recent seasons and will now hope to makean impression in the U.E.F.A. Champions League.
