Job description
Highbury Safika Media is seeking a junior sports writer to work in our vibrant award-winning sports department, both in its print and digital sports divisions. The successful applicant should have a strong general sports knowledge, although will not be required to work on rugby.
Requirements
- Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure
- Very good English grammar and spelling skills
- Able to work outside office hours when requested (including weekends)
- A good knowledge of cricket and general sport, including technical aspects of the game
- Willingness to learn
- Computer literate
- Proactive and self-discipline
- A good team player
