Introduction

Transnet NPA has Graduate-in-Training positions available within the New Business Development department in Durban (Ref No: 10153361)

Position outputs:

• Understanding and knowledge of Transnet New Business Development processes including Section 56 processes
• Administration process within the New Business Development department
• Experiential Training on identifying, creating and implementing new business opportunities within a port environment
• Practical Training on developing and implementing business strategies within a port environment
• Practical Experience on Managing New Business Development Initiative/Section 56 Project

Position outputs:

Ultimately the graduate will be able to:
• Function as a New Business Consultant in all facets of New Business Development within a port environment
• Function as a Project Manager for Section 56 projects within a port environment
• Identify new business opportunities and also opportunities within new and existing port business operations#Implement and drive New Business Initiatives identified throughout the Port system;
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies within a port environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 year degree in Marketing & Supply Chain or similar
• Recent graduate/0 to 1 year work experience
