The role
• Scheduled maintenance on all equipment
• Condition based maintenance.
• Diagnosis, trouble shooting, fault-finding, and repair on electro-technical equipment /systems
Requirements
• Recognized trade test as an Electrician
• Trade test as Air-conditioning Technician will be a strong recommendation
• Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience as an Electrician
• Grade 12/NTC3
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Fitness Certificate to comply with the Occupational Risk Exposure Profile which includes the health and physical job requirements.
• Experience of all Primary and secondary equipment (eg: Trucks, Drills, Shovels; secondary) will be a strong recommendation
You will need
• Ability to work at heights of +/- 20 meters.
• Knowledge of Mining equipment.
• The ability to work in a team and provide direction when necessary
• The ability to motivate and develop subordinates
• The ability to make decisions and delegate tasks effectively
• Commitment to upholding and enforcing company safety, production and HR Policies.
Remuneration
• The initial salary will be determined in accordance with Kumba Iron Ore Ltd regulations
• This is an Anglo Band 9
