There is an exciting opportunity for young men who are physically fit and health to join BKB who currently employ ± 1 700 people to shear 5.5 million animals for the South African Wool and Mohair Industry. If you are successful in your application, you will be enrolled for a learnership programme with the possibility of permanent employment. The qualification is for a National Certificate: Animal Production NQF1 SAQA ID: 48970

Outcome:

You will learn how to prepare a shearing shed for shearing; apply blade-shearing skills and prepare blade-shearing equipment; apply machine-shearing skills and prepare shearing equipment.

Requirements

• Unemployed South African Citizens
• Between the age of 18 and 29 years
• Resides in the Eastern Cape
• Grade 10
• Communication in both English and Afrikaans
• Team-player
• Self-driven
• Self-discipline
• Physical stamina
• Prepared to work away from home
• Prepared to work in remote areas
