DJ Christos “The Godfather of House” is a legendary DJ and one of South Africa`s most respected house producers, widely credited for laying the foundations for the SA dance scene’s still-flourishing platform.
1. He was born Christos Katsaitis
2. He started spinning records at the age of 13
3. Christos was one of the founders of the Kalawa label and via this and his own Katsaitis Music he’s been responsible for releasing some of SA’s most groundbreaking artists, including Boom Shaka, Lebo Mathosa, Shana, Daw and Black Coffee
4. Christos’ label looks back on 6 Platinum an 12 Gold selling albums
5. Katsaitis Music is also the leading Dj agency in SA boasting top Artists and DJs including Monique Bingham, Vinny Da Vinci, Ralf GUM, Franck Roger, Lars Behrenroth, Kanunu, Ree Morris, Dj Zero and Rocco to name a few
6. He established the Southern African music conference in 2004

8. In 2009 his hotel room at Esibayeni Lodge in Swaziland was broken into while he was presenting for Channel O’s New Year’s Eve gig and his phone as well as his laptop containing his works was stolen
