Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent. 2-years experience of hospital environment. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patients Rights and Responsibilities. Interpersonal relationship skills and telephone etiquette.

Duties:
Accompanying patients on wheelchairs and trolleys to various service stations. Offloading patients from ambulances and private cars and transporting them to casualty or the wards. Ensure that stretchers and wheelchairs are washed daily. Removing of deceased persons and taking them to the Mortuary. Completion of the ambulance book with the patients’ details. Ensuring that mortuary slips are fully completed by the wards. Report broken equipments to the shift leader.
