Purpose
To ensure export documentary legislatory compliance in accordance with both South African and importing country requirements are met with despatching of consignments.
Qualifications
• Grade 12
Experience
•Minimum of two years experience in the clearing and forwarding industry in the role of an export coordinator/ controller
Knowledge
•Shipping knowledge
•Over-border and local road freight knowledge
•Knowledge of SARS documentary processes
Skills
•Computer literacy – MS Office, especially Excel
Job objectives
Receiving orders/load plan
Obtain all relevant permits, import and export certification for the consignments
Arrange haulier and customs instructions
Competencies
•Deciding and initiating action
