Introduction
Sappi Saiccor is looking for suitably qualified candidates to maintain all mechanical aspects within the plant to ensure plant optimisation.

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum N3 Mechanical Engineering or related qualification with a recognised trade test
• ECP candidates who have completed the required training and trade test will be considered
• 1 year post apprentice experience as a fitter in a heavy industry environment
• Computer Literacy (MS Office, SAP)

Job Specification
• Complete scheduled and planned maintenance activities
• Perform plant inspections on a daily basis, checking and maintaining good plant conditions
• Repair faulty equipment using suitable tools and equipment

Key competencies / skills
• Diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Basic rigging skills
• Predictive, proactive and preventative maintenance techniques
