Job description

Contract position – six months

My client, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, an international leader in the field of pet nutrition, has an opportunity for an experienced, exceptionally client centric and professional receptionist to join their team.

 Main duties and responsibilities

  • Front of house reception duties
  • Manning a small switchboard
  • Messaging and referrals
  • Ordering of office stationery
  • Numerous ad hoc administrative duties as required

Specific requirements:·

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Matric, or equivalent experience
  • Strong and well developed telephone skills
  • MS Office (intermediate)
  • Totally customer focused
  • Good listening skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Warm, confident and assertive manner with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations in a credible manner
  • Exposure to, or interest in, cats and dogs would be helpful
