Introduction

Matatiele Local Municipality is looking to hire 3 Interns: Risk and Audit Services on a 3 year fixed term contract. These posts will be based within the Office of the Muncipal Manager (Reference Number : 2014/2015-19)

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 Certifcate
• B Degre / Diploma in Internal Auditng / Risk Management
• Computer Literacy – Microsoft Ofice
• Good presentation, communication and writing skills
• Abilty to think critcaly
• Wiling

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating, developing and implementing councils Risk Management Policy and
• Strategy
• Assist in coordinating the provision of reports and advice to the Management Team,
• Departments and Committees on actions, measures and initiatives aimed at reducing the level of Risk for the council
• Assist in formulating, developing and implementing councils Internal Audit Charter and Fraud Prevention Plan
• Assist in developing and implementing councils Annual Audit Plan
• Perform any other duty as may be assigned by competent authority
