Enhle Mbali Bags Lead Role In a Star Studded Showmax Film. Enhle Mbali has added yet another acting gig to her resume. The talented actress and businesswoman stars on a new Showmax film, A Safe Bet. She took to Instagram to share the trailer of the movie, and it got many people excited.
A Safe Bet follows Pearl (played by Enhle), a thirty-four year old successful top attorney. The only problem though is that her love life has suffered. Her boyfriend dumped her just before the Christmas family gathering, and Pearl’s mother does all she can to help her daughter. She takes her to church for some divine intervention, where Pearl receives a life changing prophecy about who she’ll find her happily ever after with: a man with the surname Dlamini.
The talented cast include actor and musician Lerato Makhetha, Skeem Saam star Cedric Fourie and SAFTA veteran actress, Charmaine Mtinta..
A Safe Bet is directed by Weldun Media executive producer Kgosana Monchusi, who won awards at the Silicon Valley African FIlm Festival and Jozi Film Festival for his short film Opus, and was nominated for a 2020 SAFTA for The Big Secret Season 2 for BET Africa.
