1. Brighton has a Xhosa and Swiss heritage which makes him multiracial. He doesn’t speak xhosa though because he was raised by the Swiss side of his family in Johannesburg, South Africa.

2. At the age of 17 he lost his mother.

3. As a kid, he didn’t know what exactly he wanted to become. Such as a lawyer, and architect and a pilot.

4. Before he was on Scandal, he was a freelance stage manager.

5. Scandal is his first acting job which he started from a featured extra, a call actor and now he has a main role.

6. Brighton doesn’t have a formal acting qualification.

7. Brighton has been in a relationship with his current girlfriend for four years now.

8. Besides acting he is a body paint artist.

9. Brighton prefers cars to bikes because cars are like having to bikes put together.
