Former My Brother’s Keeper Actress Hlengiwe Lushaba Madlala Joins House of Zwide. Hlengiwe Lushaba Madlala, is among the talented actresses to ever grace our screens. Although she has been around for years, any got to know her in October 2023, when she MaMchunu in My Brother’s Keeper.
MaMchunu did everything in her power to protect the Shabalalas. Sometimes though, some of the family members did her wrong, and she had no choice but cut ties. This includes leaving her marriage home, after a hectic fight with her husband, Mshengu Shabalala, played by the veteran Lindani Nkosi. Hlengiwe made viewers fall in love with the character, as she gave it her all. She was even nominated for a SAFTA, under the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Telenovela for the role.
With My Brother’s Keeper canned, Hlengiwe never got any TV gig. That is over now, as she joins another hit telenovela House of Zwide. She has been cast to play the role of Khulubuse’s 1st wife. It goes without saying that drama is about to unfold, between her and Faith, who is Khulubuse’s new partner.
