Even days before her birthday, she was already receiving gifts from well wishers.
The singer, actress and TV personality is quite private about some aspects of her life, but she shared with her fans and followers some of the activities that went down as she celebrated her special day. 44 year old Thembi ,chose the breathtaking Ludus Magnus Hotel Resort as her birthday celebration destination. She spent her day sipping on bubbly, exploring the beautiful scenery, and having a great time in general.
Thembi is known for playing the role of Gladys on Mzansi Magic drama series Gomora. She played a minor role in the 2000 film Hijack Stories, but first made her mark in the hard-hitting controversial SABC1 drama series Yizo Yizo. Thembi also sang the popular track Sure Ntombazana for the soundtrack to Yizo Yizo 2 which was a stepping stone for her music career. She rose to fame in the 90s as a member of music group called Boom Shaka.
She also owns a make-up range and runs a beauty bar called Azuri with Mbali Nkosi and Sharon Khuzwayo. Thembi became a mother for the first time four years back, and her son, Dakalo is without a doubt the apple of her eye.
