Minimum Requirements

Formal training in design, including creative design and the specific application of the relevant software – i.e., training / skill / experience in design as well as use of the tools
· Practical experience in a similar environment
· Proficient in the following hardware and software:

· Freehand MX (not essential)
· Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3 or higher being CS4/5)
· Photoshop
· Illustrator
· InDesign
· Basics of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel to copy info or insert items

Job Specification

Key job duties or responsibilities:
Executional Excellence

· Deliver a high level of design proficiency and effectiveness in; Design and layout of high quality, on brand advertisements, brochures, fact sheets, invitations, surveys, business cards, proposals and other printed materials
· Ensuring all work is brand compliant – pro-actively commenting for areas for improvement and actively engaging in this
· Assisting with preparation of e-communications and multimedia
· Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure that all material is printed / delivered on time to the desired quality
· Signing off on the quality and accuracy of all work you produce
Client understanding

· Attending all project brief-ins and reviews
· Understanding client objectives
· Producing designs tailored to deliver on client objectives
· Ensure delivery on integrated communications plans that support the client in achieving their strategic business objectives
· In conjunction with Project Managers / Leaders, be able and willing to re-direct ad-hoc requests and assist team in identifying alternate solution where appropriate

· Staying up to date with innovation and developments in the creative industry
· Offer ‘out of the box’ solutions within the brand guidelines
