Key Purpose | The content marketing consultant is responsible for creating compelling content for the Integrated Reputation Management portfolio. This person will be responsible for providing content through a variety of channels, including blogs, newsletters, articles, opinion pieces, information graphics, website pages, book content, reports, press releases and social media. The content marketing consultant will need to provide content plans according to a content strategy as developed by the Head of Content Marketing in the Reputation Management Division. This position requires a person with PR, editorial, strategic and technical skills and expertise and more importantly, a passion for good, engaging content. The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following responsibilities, but is not limited to the below only: • Develop and manage content plans according to the content strategy • Develop content in various forms, including, press releases, opinion pieces, website content, media responses and reports • Ensure that all content is consistent across various channels • Develop content for landing pages and drive traffic to these pages • Play an advisory and consulting role to the Brand and PR teams • Manage content calendars for the corporate blog and website • Project manage large content project when required • Work with and provide support to the Head of Social Media on social media content for the Corporate brand • Approach content in an integrated manner in order to repurpose content from PR, brand teams as well as Technical Marketing • Work with various internal and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers • Manage briefs for video and photography shoots, as well as design agencies |

Qualifications & Experience | • Matric and writing skills training • Appropriate tertiary qualification (degree with marketing, communication or language components) • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience (PR, editorial, social media, communication or agency experience) • Web communication and digital experience an advantage |
