On our TV screens she is the beautiful Dineo Mashaba on Generations and voice over artist. She first caught our attention when she played Keketso on Backstage. The actress has come a long way to get to where she is today. Here are top 10 things you don’t know about Katlego Danke

1)  She is from the North West Province.

2) She grew up in Mafikeng, Mabopane, Garankuwa and Potchefstroom.

3) She obtained a BA degree in Theatre & Perofrmance and Gender studies from UCT in 2001.

4) Before she got into television she has been performing in theatre.

5) She was voted as one of FHM’s 100 sexiest women in the world in 2006 and 2007.

6) She received the best actress award at the 2010 South Africa film and TV awards (SAFTAS) for her character as ‘Dineo Mashaba’ on Generations.

7) She has given motivational talks on the youth on behalf of organizations such as Sonke Gender Justice Network, The National Department of health, the ANC Women’s League and the World Bank.

8) She is involved with the Johannesburg Children’s Home and the Abraham Kriel Children’s Home.

9) She completed honors diploma in management studies in 2010, with Wits business.

10) She is also an entrepreneur.
