Showroom Interior Design Project Assistant Job
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB PURPOSE: General showroom and display management, dealing with internal and external client queries. Co-ordinating student presentations and events as set out in the Year planner.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
- Grade 12
- Interior Design qualification
Experience:
- Previous working experience in a similar environment
Knowledge:
- Computer literacy essential (Excel skills)
- Maternity

- Communication skills – written and oral
- Interpersonal skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:
Project Queries
- Assist with all project queries on existing projects and New queries
- Send out product, sample and price requests as required
- Update information documents on existing projects
Client Referrals
- 1. Compile referral document after assisting clients
- 2. Record request and send out product information forms to suppliers
- 3. Track referrals & follow up with clients
Showroom Duties
- 1. General Showroom product display Management
- 2. Update all suppliers displays with new product, latest prices and brochures
- 3. Update preferred supplier list
- 4. Ensure Product information documents for clients are uptodate
Window link Display
- 1. Set up monthly display concepts using showroom suppliers or related events
Student Presentation:
- 1. Co-ordination events and presentations which have been set up
- 2. Slot in potential new requests as received from various institutions
- 3. Update event calendar
Assist with all administrative duties relating to planning completing these events as per instruction documents provided
Salary R10000.00 CTC
