Rules of the Competition
Applicants must a) be at least 18 years old and under 27 years on 01 February 2015
b) be a South African citizen and in possession of a valid South African ID document or passport;
c) be in possession of a matric certificate or equivalent qualification;
d) not be married and never had a marriage anulled;
e) not be engaged
f) never been pregnant, never have given birth and not be pregnant;
g) not have any visible tattoos;
h) have no criminal record. Finalists will be contracted to Sun International from 01 December 2014 to 31 March 2015 (not limited to) to partake in pageant activities. False information will lead to disqualification. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All Miss SA finalists will be required to perform a limited number of engagements. They will therefore not be eligible to enter another national competition except with written permission from the organisers. The new Miss SA will be contracted to Sun International for the full year of her reign. She will remain contracted to Sun International, the office licence holders, to perform community-related projects for two years after the completion of her reign, for a maximum of 12 days a year.
NB: Rules of the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants are applicable to all Miss SA entrants.
