Celeb Friendships That Have Lost Their Spark (Part III). It is always beautiful to witness celebrity become best of friends, and do this life thing together. Sadly, because of the nature of the industry, it is difficult to find a genuine person to make a friend of. They is tough competition and a lot of backstabbing, hence, every now and then celeb friendships fizzle out.
We have seen the likes of DJ Zinhle and Lerato Kganyago, Connie Ferguson and Rami Chuene as well as Bonang Matheba and Lorna Maseko, no longer vibe with each other like they used to back in the day. All of their fall out have everything to do with the politics of the industry.
Lately we have noticed that there are more new set of celebrity friendships that seem to have reached their expiry dates. They no longer post about each other, or hang out like they used to.
Unathi and Somizi
They had such beautiful chemistry on-screen as Idols SA judges. Sadly after Somizi was booted out of the hit show, Unathi expressed that they weren’t really that close on a personal level. Dishing out more on their fall out, Somizi revealed on his show he never wants to speak to her again. Hectic!
Unathi and Sizwe Dhlomo
Unathi has also had a fall out with another celebrity, Sizwe Dlhomo. The media personality was so excited when Sizwe joined Kaya FM, to be her colleague. Sadly office politics saw these two turn against each other, leading to Unathi losing her job at the station. Definitely one of the saddest ending to a friendship.
Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle
Now this one is a shocker! Many people have drawn inspiration from this friendship. Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle, served every goal one could think of. Sadly, it looks like the two are not as tight as they used to be. Recently Pearl celebrated her birthday, and people couldn’t help but notice that there was no shout out from her bestie, Zinhle.
Natasha Thahane and Lasizwe
Natasha Thahane and Lasizwe, served amazing friendship goals, while they were still cool with each other. Now things are sour and they have even unfollowed each other on their social media platforms. During Lasizwe’s YouTube show, Tell the Truth or Drink it, the actor opened up on how they are no longer in talking terms. He said he even invited the actress to be a guest on his show and she never showed up, despite setting up for the show.
